Waltham Forest Support & Skills Forum

 

Terms of Reference

The Forum will represent an informal grouping of all organisations providing business support to the community and businesses based in the London Borough of Waltham Forest.

The Forum will meet three times per year and under the chairmanship of an elected Chair will focus upon the following:

  • Improving coordination between business support providers.
  • Ensuring that a proper system of referrals is in place
  • Identifying any duplications or gaps in provision.
  • Sharing best practice.
  • Maximising and coordinating a number of events for the benefit of businesses across the Borough
  • Act as a discussion forum in the event of any disputes.

The Forum will produce an annual report for the Waltham Forest Business Board identifying issues it sees in the business support provision across the Borough.

The Forum will produce a portfolio of case studies for use by WFBB.

The Forum will identify any barriers to growth/inward investment and refer these to the WFBB.

The Forum will ensure the Council BVPI output targets are built into any delivery plans.
